CLARK MOORMAN

Clark Moorman is an alt rock/indie rock musician from what the Washington Post called "the most middle of nowhere town in the lower 48 states".

His debut album, the garage punk and folk punk-influenced Make Me Pretty, was recorded in a one-car Montana garage in July 2018 to digital 8-track and released later that summer.

Over the next several years, Moorman began to incorporate electronic and orchestral elements into his sound across a series of standalone singles, most notably, the piano, chipmunk vocals, and marching-snare laden “Wait for Me Through Summertime” and the trip-hop-influenced slow-burner “She’s at It Again”. In early 2025, all of these singles were compiled and released as the compilation album Collected Singles: 2018-2022.

In late 2024, Moorman began work on what will become his second album, which marries the raw garage punk of Make Me Pretty with the electronic experimentation and orchestral instrumentation of Collected Singles: 2018-2022. The album’s first single, “Paper Mache Wolves” - carried by a singular fuzz bass riff, chopped-up hand drums, and shouted vocals - was released in spring 2025.
